Our Vet
Mark Turnwald BVSc MACVSc(Veterinary Behaviour)
Mark was born in Castor Bay and grew up on the North Shore. He has over 40 years experience since graduating from Massey University in 1982.
He started the Belmont Vet Clinic in 1996 after returning from working as a vet in the UK and practising in Devonport for 6 years. He continues to enjoy providing a service for the people and animals of Takapuna and Devonport.
Mark especially enjoys soft tissue surgery and companion animal medicine. His interest in Veterinary Behaviour is stimulated daily as his nurses handle animals and together they limit the anxiety associated with veterinary visits with their competent approach and reinforcement of calm settled behaviour often when the pet has some painful condition that requires diagnosis and treatment.
