Nail Clipping

It is important that your pet’s nails are trimmed regularly, as overgrown nails can cause a variety of problems for your pet.  They may split and become infected, curl around and become ingrown or even be torn off completely. How often trimming should be done depends on the pet. Some small or elderly pets may need a trim every 2-3 weeks, whilst bigger and more active dogs may go years without needing one. If you are unsure just drop by and we can advise if your pet is due for a trim.

We understand that clipping your own pet’s nails can be highly stressful for both you and your pet. For this reason we offer a nail clipping service. You may be surprised how much calmer your pet is when we clip their nails. To make an appointment or for more information please phone 446 1155.
