The decision to euthanasia a beloved pet is never easy. Here at Belmont Vets we do everything we can to support you and your pet through this difficult time. We understand that you are the best person to judge the quality of your pets life and promise to never make you feel judged for the decisions you make.
If you have decided to euthanise, there are a couple more choices to be made:
- Do you want to be with your pet when it happens – there will always be a nurse holding your pet, but you are welcome to pat and talk to your pet throughout the procedure.
- Cremation or burial? You have 3 choices after euthanasia: we can arrange a special cremation where your pets ashes are returned to you, you can take your pet home to bury, or we can arrange burial for you.
We are always available to talk if you have any questions about this difficult process. Please phone 446 1155 for more information.
